We are thrilled to compete this year at the 52nd Annual Fischoff National Chamber Music Competition!

This summer, we are looking forward to our residency at the Norfolk Chamber Music Festival from June 29 until August 10!

“Our goal is to honor our communities and cultures, by sharing our love for storytelling through our craft.”

ZaRiah is a collaboration of multifaceted artists, who just so happen to be the best of friends. ZaRiah was formed during their undergraduate years at the Oberlin Conservatory of Music. Drawn together from the transition of leaving home and embarking on adulthood, their bond solidified during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Why the name ‘ZaRiah’ ?

“To put it simply, ZaRiah is an homage to our Oberlin days. There is a coffee shop in Oberlin named ‘Azariah’s.’ However, ZaRiah has Arabic origins, and means brilliance and radiance. I also loved how this name can be seen in different variations in my community. I wanted our name to have an aura of strength and grace.” – Katelyn
